Sometimes it pays to look down at your feet. These small mushrooms, identified as Hypholoma Fasciculare, or “Sulphur Tuft”, were growing on a tree stump at the entrance to a driveway near to where I live. In some ways I think I prefer this kind of “landscape” to the big open views. Note that this kind of mushroom is poisonous—this didn’t look like a free meal to me. I'm no expert at mushroom identification, so if you think I'm wrong about what these are, I'm happy to be corrected in the comments.
